The Student Council of the GSIS is a voluntary student body that serves as a liaison between the administration and the students. It organizes and manages various cultural and recreational events for both students and faculty in coordination with the department. The council also acts as a bridge for students to convey their opinions, concerns, and suggestions to the department.
